Educational Learning Mats are a family run business providing that extra support and encouragement for children of different age groups. Developed by teachers and parents alike, these re-usable, wipe clean learning mats come in a variation of subjects and help reinforce learning in the home setting.
This was a collaborative project between GEL Studios, and Mike Garlick Design, which called for a full e-commerce website design and development from scratch. The energetic design has children in mind with fun, quirky illustrations dotted around the website and a bright, cheerful colour palette.
The website also included a basket and checkout function alongside the ability to login and make a customer account. For the e-commerce element of the site we used OpenCart, which is a free open source PHP-based online e-commerce solution.
