Museum & Art Swindon.

How we helped.

We were really excited at the chance to work with Museum & Art Swindon, for such a great local cause. We were tasked with creating a new logo design, brand identity and bespoke website ahead of their new venue opening in 2024.

We wanted to create an identity for the new museum with real meaning and purpose and the branding journey started with our Pillar's Branding Workshop. It focussed on how Museum & Art Swindon positions itself, exploring what the museum has to offer to the community and beyond - from its collections and exhibitions through to the expert curators and the new venue too.

We've loved working on such a fun, local brand and website. As members of the Swindon community, we feel really proud to have played our part in bringing the next phase of Museum & Art Swindon's history to life...

Responsive website design for Museum & Art Swindon

A vibrant brand, for a vibrant destination.

Knowing that the new museum would be a vibrant destination, this guided key visual branding decisions from the very start of the project. The bright and accessible colour palette is energetic and representative of inclusion, coupled with the layered element in the logo design and graphical assets that acknowledges Swindon's history, which was equally as important to include in the new identity.

A website, for everybody.

The new and accessible website will play a crucial role in increasing footfall to the new venue and increase visibility in all the museum has to offer - from visitor information and collection highlights, to upcoming events and a digital resource hub to drive school bookings. An online e-commerce store and donation form were also created, giving users even more opportunities to support Museum & Art Swindon. Before applying the vibrant design to the website, the planning phase looked heavily at the different types of website user and what they'd be looking for. This led to a logical navigational structure, and relevant content sections to aid their journey.
