Hello, friends!
This is the GEL Studios Marketing Team and we're just back from Glastonbury Festival. We were lucky enough to be invited to the festival by one of our clients, Odin Events. Their team head down to Worthy Farm every year to bring some of their super fun activities to the Kidzfield.
The Kidzfield is wonderful and whacky.
Located within the sprawling fields of the Glastonbury site, the Kidzfield can only be described as an exciting explosion of colour and fun.
With its own grand entrance gate (located near the acoustic stage) this mini-me version of Glastonbury has been specially designed for children but welcomes people of all ages. Signs dotted around the site read "It's never too late to have a happy childhood or enable someone else's".

Some of the attractions in the KidzField included a Helter Skelter, workshops, climbing frames, sand pits, inflatables, circus skills, swings, messy play, crafts and special performances from the likes of Basil Brush (Boom Boom!)
Best of all, everything is free. None of the rides or activities cost a penny, kids are able to enjoy themselves without breaking the bank. This is definitely welcome when everything else at the festival is quite costly.
It's safe to say plenty of families loved exploring this magical kingdom over the weekend, with plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied - both young and old alike.

Odin Events took their Climbing Wall, Cave Experience and Dino Dig to the Kidzfield.
The Odin Events Team took their portable climbing wall, mobile cave experience and Dino Dig to Glastonbury Festival.
Over the course of the weekend, thousands of children conquered the Wall, explored the depths of the Caves and uncovered dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig activity.
Lewis and Max captured tons of photos and videos for their social media and new website.
This trip was a great opportunity for Lewis and Max to capture footage and images for Odin to use on their new website (which is currently in development), and in future marketing too.
Creating and sharing content while in a remote field in Somerset didn't come without its challenges though. Having set up a temporary studio in our tents, the biggest challenge we faced was getting a good enough signal to be able to share the content on their social channels. After many failed attempts, Lewis and Max ended up walking an hour to the one spot that had enough signal to schedule the weekend's content.
They captured over 100 videos and images (and counting). They've already gone through all these photos and videos on their computers, selecting only the best ones for Odin Events' social media profiles too. With such an incredible selection of content, you can expect to see some fantastic photos and videos soon.

It wasn't all work, they had some fun as well.
Lewis and Max worked flat out through Wednesday and Thursday but they also took the time to enjoy all that Glastonbury has to offer.
They were lucky enough to catch Paul McCartney's headline set on Saturday, including surprise appearances from Bruce Springsteen and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
Lewis and Max also made sure the rest of the team who were working in the office felt involved too, by sending a postcard back to the studio.
Big thanks to Odin Events for bringing us along, we had a blast.
Thank you to Odin Events for making it possible. It has been a pleasure working with them, and we look forward to our further collaboration together.
The Kidzfield was an amazing place for children of all ages to play games, make friends with other kids, and discover their inner rock star as well as their inner explorer! It was also lovely to see so many adults spending time in the field too.
We had a blast at Glastonbury Festival and we hope you enjoyed our photos and videos. If you're looking for more content then check out our Instagram page where there are plenty more pictures and videos from the trip. We would also love it if you could share this article with other people who might be interested in seeing what we get up to behind the scenes.
