Since 1997, Swindon Carers Centre has been a vital lifeline for unpaid carers in Swindon, championing their rights, enhancing their wellbeing, and providing tailored services that address their unique needs.

Currently supporting more than 5,700 carers in Swindon, the charity saw a 12% rise in support registrations between 2023 and 2024. However, funding has not kept pace with demand.

The organisation needed a new website and marketing support to ensure it’s long-term future, and that's where we came in.

The challenge.

In 2025, we partnered with Swindon Carers Centre after it withdrew from a tendering process that provided 80% of its funding, due to local authority commissioning decisions rendering the tender unviable. They needed our support to generate crucial donations that secured the charity's long-term sustainability.

As our chosen charity patner for 2025, we began with a messaging workshop to refine their brand mission and vision, ensuring their tone of voice reflected the charity’s urgent situation. The team then participated in our goal-setting workshop, which helped establish a marketing strategy aligned with the organisation's objectives and focused on delivering measurable results.

A streamlined website that's focused on engagement.

The new website has undergone a significant transformation, streamlining the donation process to make it more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. By reducing friction and simplifying the user journey, we have made it easier than ever for supporters to contribute to the organisation’s vital work. At the same time the website has been thoughtfully crafted to better support Swindon’s 18,000 unpaid carers, providing them with quick and easy access to essential resources, guidance, and assistance.

Beyond improving functionality, we also took the opportunity to refine and elevate the organisation’s branding. While staying aligned with their existing brand guidelines, we explored a bolder and more engaging visual approach that enhances the website’s overall impact. The new website successfully strengthens the organisation’s digital presence, ultimately making a meaningful difference for both donors and carers alike.

A strategic marketing partner.

Alongside the website project, we've developed a comprehensive marketing strategy for the remainder of 2025 that will combine using Google Ads to reach new audiences, Email Marketing to nurture existing donors and supporters, PR and tailored crowdfunders which will support us to achieve the overall goal of generating more income.
