GEL Studios announces return of 'Win A Creative Solution' competition.

Swindon-based creative agency GEL Studios has announced the return of its ‘Win a Creative Solution’ competition, offering three bespoke creative solutions to local charities, CICs and not-for-profit organisations across the SN postcode area.

The winning projects will be designed and delivered throughout 2027. 

Each creative solution will be shaped around the organisation’s specific needs, whether that means building a new website, refreshing a brand identity, or developing a marketing strategy that helps the cause reach and engage more people. 

Interested charities and not-for-profit organisations can complete a short entry form on GEL Studios’ dedicated landing page. Nominations open on Wednesday 14th October and close on Friday 13th November, and entries must be submitted by an employee of the organisation applying. 

Last year’s competition saw GEL Studios work with three local organisations, each driven by a clear purpose to support the community around them: 

Teamability delivers interactive workshops and learning opportunities that promote disability awareness in schools and businesses; The Harbour Project supports refugees across Swindon; and The Kelly Foundation offers practical support for adults in the Swindon area experiencing mental health issues. 

One example of the impact created through this £5,000 creative resource was The Harbour Project, which chose a brand messaging workshop with GEL Studios’ SEO and Creative experts. The resulting messaging guidelines document helped the charity communicate its work, and speak to the people it supports, in a way that felt true to its identity. 

As in previous years, the local community will play an active role in choosing this year’s winners. Public voting opens on Monday 23rd November and runs until Friday 11th December, giving local people the chance to support the causes that resonate with them most. The more votes an entrant receives, the earlier its creative solution will be developed in 2027. The three winners will be announced on Wednesday 16th December.
