From website discovery to delivery...
To create stronger sub-brand identities, we introduced new top-level domains into the fold which needed to be implemented correctly to avoid disruption to traffic. In total, there would be six websites across four domains, so this task combined with having multiple brand websites inside of one MODX installation, plus integration between all forms and their Salesforce CRM, meant we kicked off the website project with a detailed discovery phase.
We mapped out all requirements and desired approaches, so we could minimise risks later on. MODX administration was also a key consideration from the start. RWA are long term advocates of MODX and were aware of its capabilities through their previous website, but were keen to streamline and improve their administration experience on the new website. Our bespoke approach ensur.es the RWA team can now easily update all areas on all sites in a way that still gives them flexibility and scalability with their content and campaigns.
The website design itself gives each sub-brand a unique colour palette, and although each website sits on its own domain as a separate context in the MODX manager, a consistent set of base styles and page layouts is utilised across all websites. This approach allows for a much more flexible, yet consistent administration approach, a key requirement of the project.
