Award-winning creative agency GEL Studios has started working on its new premises, based in South Marston.
GEL Studios has launched a number of new services over the past two years which has meant the team has grown exponentially. As a result, and due to an increase in the number of clients, a bigger and better studio is the next logical step ahead of their ten-year anniversary in June.
The new studio which is located just a few doors down from their current studios will be in a converted farmhouse. Having nearly completed their B-corp certification, GEL Studios is focused on making the renovations of their new office as sustainable as possible, using local tradespeople, environmentally friendly materials and installing efficient energy systems.
GEL Studios is working with local workplace interior designer, Debbie Watts, from Ashlar-ID to repurpose the historic building and turn it into a creative hub for the team, their clients and the community.
At a time when remote working has been adopted by many employers, the goal of this new studio is to bring people together and encourage face-to-face collaboration and conversations. The culture at the agency is focused on teamwork, collaborating with clients and peers and creating positive change. This investment into the team and its premises is set to make a massive difference to the business and its clients.
With the renovations set to finish in March, the team at GEL Studios is excited to welcome clients, new enquiries and members of the community to the new studio and keep inspiring change through creativity.
GEL Studios specialises in creating truly bespoke websites, beautiful graphics and branding, and meaningful marketing.
Graeme Leighfield, Managing Director of GEL Studios said:
“Swindon has been GEL Studios' home for 10 years this summer. We can’t wait to open our state-of-the-art studios and continue inspiring change through creativity.
"As our studio, team and clients grow, our commitment to do good for our local community grows too. While many businesses look to downsize or close their offices completely, we’re committed to playing an active part in Swindon’s community for years to come.”
Debbie Watts, Manager Director of Ashlar ID said:
"Thanks to the power of LinkedIn and recommendations from local businesses, I was approached by Graeme to submit a proposal for the design of GEL Studios' new offices. Having just finished a project in Croydon it was fabulous to get the opportunity to work locally.
"I was delighted when I got the call from Graeme, and I swiftly provided a design solution that matched his vision of collaboration and wellbeing. We are very excited to see it come to life.
"Ashlar-ID are passionate about our local business community and so working with Graeme who shares the same views is wonderful."
