St Martin's Pre-School's previous website was quite dated and very content heavy, which resulted in parents struggling to find the important information they needed. The first thing we did was assess what content was actually needed and created a new sitemap to improve the overall user journey. The main header navigation was then simplified to improve the ease of moving throughout different pages on the site. Another element we wanted to make sure was just right was the administration side of the website. As well as the entire team being able to access and update content across the site, we also improved their admission application process, meaning the team could spend less time doing the paperwork and more time teaching and enriching the lives of the children.
The design of the the site is very much led by the vibrant colours used in their logo, so we wanted to match the bright and cheerful spirit through-out by using an engaging theme to really bring out the playfulness, after all it is a pre-school.
GEL Studios designed and built the new website for our Pre-School. They took a lot of time beforehand to establish what we wanted from our website and to ensure that it would meet the needs of both us and new or existing families.
The website is amazing, a great balance of wonderful images and easy to find information that families need. It is now interactive, so parents can submit an application form online, or just contact us via the site.
