Inception.

How we helped.

With over 20 years of expertise in the Managed Print and IT industry, and continuously growing and evolving, Inception sought our expertise to reposition themselves as a trusted partner in the industry.

To kickstart the journey, we facilitated our Brand messaging workshop with the Inception team. This process allowed us to gain an in-depth understanding of their business, messaging hierarchy, tone, and language. These insights were invaluable in identifying their needs for a new website. Additionally, we were tasked with ensuring uniformity and consistency across their brand identity, including their photography assets.

To further support their transition and focus on IT-based services, our team devised an ongoing marketing strategy. This strategy includes social media and email campaigns, along with SEO expertise, set to be implemented post-launch of the new website.

Brand identity 2.0.

Inception didn’t require a new logo but sought a newfound maturity in their visual identity and how they presented themselves to the world. Through exploration, we streamlined their previously ad-hoc branding while preserving their distinct personality. By leveraging the circular motif from their logo, we developed a professional identity infused with an element of fun.

This refined identity has been applied across a variety of brand assets, from exhibition stands and supporting collateral to vehicle wraps and even claw machine branding. To ensure consistency, we also aligned their internal systems so that every brand touchpoint reflects this cohesive vision.

Deep dive into a new website.

The challenge was not only to craft a new website tailored to their needs but also to bring their existing online store in line with the updated look and feel. The goal was to create a streamlined and seamless user experience.

The new website prioritises knowledge sharing and simplifies the process for customers to find solutions to their IT or print-related problems. A bespoke troubleshooting guide was developed to efficiently direct users to the appropriate expertise. Coupled with a simplified sitemap and user journey, the revamped website delivers a professional and user-focused experience aligned with Inception’s business goals.

Migrating from WordPress to MODX immediately improved the website performance by removing its reliance on unnecessary code. This optimisation drastically reduced the website size from 14.5GB to 450MB, resulting in much faster load times.

Marketing with purpose.

To support Inception’s growth ambitions, we developed a comprehensive marketing strategy that incorporates targeted SEO for their Services website and Online Store, along with email marketing and social media content creation and management.

Our SEO initiatives focus on enhancing user experience by creating and implementing new content areas, such as FAQs and custom category and product descriptions, replacing syndicate-generated content. On the new Services website, we consistently create detailed customer case studies, analyse user interactions, and conduct competitor analysis.

To boost Inception’s visibility and drive traffic to both sites, we run monthly email campaigns complemented by weekly social media posts on Facebook and LinkedIn. Since November 2024, these efforts have already resulted in notable growth in followers and engagement.
